WASHINGTON (WUSA) – Troubles for the embattled Sulaimon Brown continue, this time with an overnight arrest in DC.

Police sources confirm Sulaimon Brown was taken into custody after being pulled over in the 600 block of Florida Avenue around 1:10 Monday morning. Police say officers initiated a traffic stop of Brown’s vehicle because it had a broken tail light. When police ran his Maryland drivers license they found it was suspended and Brown was arrested.

Drunk driving is not so Raven.

Orlando Brown, who starred alongside Raven-Symone on her Disney show “That’s So Raven” for four seasons, was busted by police for DUI on Friday night, reports TMZ.

Worse yet, his pregnant girlfriend was in the car with him.

The LAPD first pulled the 23-year-old over because he was driving without a license plate, but once they got close enough to smell alcohol on his breath, they administered a field sobriety test, which he failed, authorities said.

One half of legendary rap duo Outkast Big Boi was arrested earlier today in Miami on drug charges, media outlets are saying. According to Miami-Dade County Jail’s web site, the longtime rapper was caught and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The drugs were listed as MDMA powder, ecstasy pills and Viagra.

Further reports state that the artist born Antwan Patton was apprehended by customs and border patrol canines as he was exiting a cruise line. He was booked and processed this afternoon according to media reports. A quick look at Big Boi’s Twitter page revealed that the rapper was on vacation between Puerto Rico and Grand Turk Island over the past few days. It appears that Big Boi’s trip back home to the states was marred by this recent infraction.

Rodney King, whose videotaped beating by police ultimately led to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Tuesday, police said.

King was behind the wheel of a 1994 Mitsubishi when he was pulled over in Moreno Valley, in Southern California’s Riverside County, the city’s police department reported. Officers saw King — who has acknowledged a longstanding drinking problem — commit “several traffic violations,” a police statement said.

“A preliminary evaluation of the driver indicated he was possibly driving while impaired. The subject was transported to the Moreno Valley Police Department for a further evaluation,” police said. He was booked after that further evaluation, they said.

King’s 1991 beating by Los Angeles police officers after a traffic stop left him with skull fractures and brain and kidney damage. It was captured on video by a nearby resident, and four officers were indicted as a result.

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested at a bar late Saturday night for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

Four months after settling a case that punctuated a slew of off-the-field trouble for the 27-year-old NFL veteran, he was taken into custody on the misdemeanors after being repeatedly asked to leave a Cincinnati bar for rowdy behavior, WKRC-TV has reported, citing court documents.

Katt Williams has been arrested again … TMZ has learned — this time, the comedian was busted in Palmdale, CA after an intense standoff with a tractor driver.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … a man doing tractor work on a Palmdale home where Katt was staying claims three women approached his vehicle and began attacking him with rocks and dirt clods around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.

The man, who says he suffered facial injuries in the attack, called his wife to pick him up — but when she arrived, Katt pulled up in an SUV and blocked their exit.   That’s when the man called 911.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. quickly arrived to the scene — arrested the women for assault with a deadly weapon and busted Katt for felony intimidating a witness.

Former “CSI” star Gary Dourdan was arrested this morning in Los Angeles after cops claim the actor was in possession of  “a few pills” of the drug ecstasy … law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We’re told officers responded to an accident scene around 3:30 AM — after someone reported that Gary crashed his vehicle into two parked cars.

During the investigation, cops found “a few pills” of ecstasy — and arrested the actor on a drug possession charge.

Dourdan was taken to a nearby station — where he was booked and bail was set at $10,000.

After spending several hours in custody, Dourdan was released just after 12:00 PM.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Gloria James, the mother of Miami Heat basketball star LeBron James, was arrested by Miami Beach police after she reportedly assaulted a valet worker because it was taking too long to have her car delivered.

After practice on Thursday, when asked about the incident, LeBron James said he was being helped with the situation and called it a personal matter.

Police said Gloria James had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and her eyes were bloodshot when officers arrived at the Fontainebleau Hotel at about 4:47 a.m. ET Thursday.

Police said several witnesses supported valet worker Sorel Rockfeller’s account of the alleged assault.

Gloria James was taken to the Miami Beach police department, where she was issued a promise to appear on charges of simple battery and disorderly conduct. A police report says she was released to Heat executive Steve Stowe.

“It’s very sensitive because it’s your mother, of course,” LeBron James said Thursday after practice. “People around me are helping me, helping her.”

James said he was at home at the time of his mother’s arrest after dealing with Miami’s 90-85 loss at home to the Milwaukee Bucks.

“You have to move forward,” James said. “It is my life. Just try to not let things be a distraction. I have a job to do. It’s a personal matter that’s being taken care of. She’s fine.”

Gloria James was arrested on drunken driving charges in 2006 in Akron, Ohio. She was given a suspended sentence, fined and ordered to complete a drug and alcohol class after pleading no contest to reckless operation, speeding, disorderly conduct and physical control of a motor vehicle under the influence.

LeBron James took about six questions from reporters about his mother before he asked that the focus shift to basketball-related matters, as the Heat prepare for Friday’s home game against the Charlotte Bobcats.

The key issue on the court for the Heat remains Dwyane Wade‘s uncertain status.

Wade missed Wednesday’s game with a deep right thigh bruise, but said he is making progress with therapy. Wade was on the court for parts of Thursday’s practice and will be re-evaluated before Friday’s game.

Dealing with injuries and off-court issues is nothing new for the Heat, who have had to minimize distractions throughout the season.

WASHINGTON (WUSA) — Three DC Police Officers were arrested in a sting operation, DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier said in a Tuesday afternoon news conference.

Fourth District officers Guillermo Ortiz, Sylvester Bonilla, Diani Fernandez, were caught trying to purchase stolen electronic goods, according to the chief.

This announcement came just a day after another 4th District officer, Jennifer Green, was arrested for stealing cash from a crime scene, according to cops. That charge is completely unrelated to the new charges, Lanier said

The 2-month-long internal affairs investigation stemmed from performance reviews, according to the chief. Lanier said the department is doing everything it can to “weed out” officers who “go out on their own.”
